10th century convent raised maiden stuck in the 21st century and utterly miserable because of it. Honestly, I have a BA in history which has proved useless in getting a job, so now I'm in graduate school studying professional writing in the hopes of getting a job with the Detroit Red Wings....and since I love to write and a professional writing degree is infinitely more marketable than a creative writing degree, it seemed to be the right choice. I teach English and history at the high school level and absolutely LOVE doing it. And I have two Welsh Corgis who are my 'kids.'
