About Me

I live in Shropshire, England, in what's called the Welsh Marches. The area is steeped in history and dramatic landscapes. It's true inspiration! Like many writers, I was making up stories long before I could read or write, but for many years I put off the idea of putting pen to paper. I had a career to think of! The trouble was, I was never 'happy' in what I did. Veterinary nursing, sales representative and slimming consultant, none of them filled the gap. Then, five years ago I suffered an accident which made me think about what I really wanted. What did I have to lose in writing? Something clicked whilst I was lying in hospital and once I returned home the stories rattling inside my head spilled out onto the key board. I had a lot to learn...anyone who says writing a book is easy, hasn't tried it! The craft is something I'm learning all the time and continue to learn...
