I have been a volunteer firefighter for over two years and I plan on continuing until I am physically incapable of the activities it involves. I have proven to many people that even though I am 5' 5" and 135lbs I can do basically everything the guys can do, including carrying 6' 4" 245lb men down 35' ladders, just as well and as fast as they can.
