About Me

I am a book-a-alochic. Whe else would I ship home second-hand books every time I travel? Reading has been my passion ever since I was a little girl and read just about every book in my elementary school's library. As a young mother, I read Reader's Digest books. Then I discovered romance novels and my life hasn't been the same since. They are my "me time," my fantasy time and a relief from every day stress! I have two grown sons who have given me four wonderful grandsons! Being a grandmother is wonderful although my sons and their families live in PA and I don't see them as often as I would like. After moving to Florida 18 years ago, I received a masters' degree in TESOL (Teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages) and I spent over ten years teaching non-English speaking people from all over the world to speak English at the elementary, middle school, high school and college levels. I learned so much about the world from my students and I loved every minute of my career! Now my wacky chihuahua, George, and I live quietly in the Tampa Bay area. I so enjoyed last years' challenge and meeting some of you online, that I couldn't wait to do it again! Let's read on!
