About Me

Cynthia Rutledge wrote her first book at fourteen and relegated it to the trash shortly thereafter. She started writing again in 1996 after taking a class at a local community college on “How to Write a Romance Novel.” In three and half years she’d written five books. Her fifth book, originally entitled “Faith on a Harley” won the Faith, Hope and Love Chapter’s Touched by Love contest, garnering it a critique by Silhouette editor, Patience Smith. Patience Smith bought that book for Steeple Hill’s Love Inspired line. Since then Cynthia has written for not only Love Inspired and Silhouette Romance, but she now writes for Silhouette Special Edition under the pseudonym, Cindy Kirk.
