Debra Clopton

Debra is an award winning author who writes for the Love Inspired line. When her wacky hairstylist Lacy Brown showed up spouting that “love was in the air and the hair and she was on a mission to change the lives of a bunch of lonesome cowboys in Mule Hollow Texas” Debra hoped her little town would be the backdrop to build her career but she had no idea what God had in store for her. She is currently working on her Mule Hollow books for 2010.
Debra believes in hard work, perseverance and waiting on God’s timing. Debra has a great appreciation for the need for humor, especially, in Christian fiction. She loves it when readers tell her one of her books helped them laugh again or see God’s love shine through a dark time in their life. Readers enjoy the mix of humor and seriousness of her books.
