About Me

I had my eldest 2 children fairly early then lived my life backwards by going to Uni when they were small. Following completion of my law degree I started working for a local Solicitors. I found the work incredibly interesting but it really took up a lot of time - it certainly was not 9-5. When I married and had my third child I knew I wanted to be at home more for all of my children. My marriage was an absolute nightmare (note to self: no more running off to Vegas and marrying people I have only known for 7 weeks!!) and so as a single parent of 3 children I started childminding so that I could be at home for my children. This then evolved into working for the local authority and I became a foster carer in November 2007. Since that time I have had 2 little girls placed with me and so have 5 children at home. We also keep, show and occasionally breed Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Lhasa Apsos.
