About Me

Born and raised breathing air with the tang of saltwater and history in Tidewater Maryland, I came naturally to a love of both spinning and reading stories. After majoring in history and French at college, I worked jobs ranging from nurse's aid to communications director for an insurance company before marrying my hero, a naval officer. In twenty years we moved twelve times, living in such diverse locations as Tunis, Tunisia and Oslo, Norway. After our return to his native Texas and once my children grew older, I returned to the writing I'd abandoned after college, finishing my first real novel that was later bought by the wonderful Margaret Marbury, then with Harlequin Historicals. Ten years later, I'm still writing!
