About Me
I'm Kelley and I live in the DFW area with my three "children" of the four-footed and furry variety: Sheba, Aker, and Amun, affectionately known as cats.
I work as an environmental contractor for the Army Reserves, a job I've had since 1997 in which there is never a dull moment and no two days are the same.
I have been reviewing for about 6 years and got started on it completely by accident. That accident turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I discovered a hobby I thoroughly enjoy and an outlet for my opinions about the books I love... or love to hate.
You'll see me hanging out primarily in the book buzz areas, especially the 100,000 Book Challenge which I'm participating in again this year. I joined the 100K challenge to see just how much I can read in a single year. I already know I can read more than 100 in a year so that's not the difficult part for me. I love many of the Harlequin lines but never have time to read them since my review books always take priority over "for pleasure" reads. So my real goal with the 100K challenge (since the purpose is to challenge ourselves after all) is to read more Harlequin books. And hey, it gives me a valid excuse to set aside the review books sometimes in favor of reading entirely for fun. In 2007 I went solo and I decided this year to go the team route. My team this year is a threesome made up of myself, debiw and debkc and we are "The D2K Paranormal Junkies" (where the D2 represents the two Debs and the K be me! LOL)
